How to prepare for the CLTD Certification Exam
- Plan your approach to studying for the Exam. There are 2 options available to you:
Option 1: Participate in a Class
Attend an instructor-led class sponsored by ASCM Twin Cities Chapter (see class options & registration details below) Class fees include the CLTD Learning System
Option 2: Self-Study
Purchase the CLTD Learning System (includes books & 1-year license for online study tools) and self-study(order self-study materials here)
We recommend purchasing the CLTD Bundle for the best value! Bundles include: 1-year ASCM Membership (if needed), CLTD Learning System (books & online study portal), and Exam Credit with FREE 2nd-chance exam if needed. Learning System and Exams can be purchased separately, but there is no free 2nd-chance exam without the Bundle.
The Twin Cities Chapter offers local, instructor-led review courses starting 2 to 3 times/year to help you prepare for the exam. Current Course Details are included on the following Registration Form and listed at the bottom of this page.
In general classes start in the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer. Schedules are based on demand.

The following are instructor-led classes currently scheduled. If you prefer to self-study, the chapter will be happy to order your materials and/or activate your membership. order Self-Study materials here or contact the chapter at [email protected] or 763-413-2513.
If no classes are posted here, please contact the Chapter Office (763-413-2513 or [email protected]) to be added to the waiting list. You will be notified when the next class is added to the schedule.
To register after the posted "Registration Deadline", please call the CHAPTER OFFICE. Late registrations will be accepted on a "space available" basis and will be subject to a $45 LATE FEE.
CLTD Course Cancellation Policy:
Written withdrawal is required no later than the final registration deadline. Tuition, less the cost of any materials ordered, and a $50/class cancellation fee, will be refunded. Failure to attend does not qualify as a withdrawal.
There are no refunds after the final registration deadline and no transfer of funds to future terms.
CLTD Certification Review Course Re-Take Policy:
Students who have taken a Twin Cities Chapter CSCP Certification Review Course within the last 2 years may register to re-take the class for a fee of $500-members, $600-nonmembers. A current CSCP Learning System (at student’s expense) is required.
Session Re-take Policy:
Students who have taken a Twin Cities Chapter CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD Certification Review Course within the last 2 years may audit a session of the same course for free one time. Students are required to notify the Chapter 48 hours ahead of the session they plan to attend. Students may audit up to a maximum of 3 sessions of a specific evening course or one session of a daytime course.
